The coalition of first ladies in Cross Rivers, Ekiti, Enugu, Kebbi, Niger and Ondo States which also has the former first ladies of Kwara, Ogun and Oyo States as members would be having a one-day event in commemoration of (Pink October) the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. First ladies against cancer (FLAC), as the body is known, is set to screen 'Diamonds In The Sky', a movie aimed at creating awareness on issues surrounding breast cancer and provide education to as many women as possible on how to ultimately save them from untimely deaths. The movie was written by internationally acclaimed writer, Tunde Babalola and features top-notch Nollywood talent such as Joke Silva, Ali Nuhu, Bimbo Akintola, Yvonne Jegede Fawole, Femi Adebayo, Toyin Abraham, Omowunmi Dada, Mogaji Majinyawa, Yemi Shodimu, Prof Ayo Akinwale and Ebun Oloyede and more. Already, the movie has claimed seven (7) nominations at the Best of Nollywood awards. It’s also picked up 8 nominations at the Golden Movies Awards, Ghana, 2 at Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) and won the best directors category at Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF). 'Diamonds In The Sky' would be privately screened on the Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the popular Harbor Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.
