Lebron James has finally broken his silence following the death of his fellow NBA legend and close friend, Kobe Bryant, who tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash on Sunday Jan. 26th. The LA Lakers star, who broke Bryant's scoring record to become the third-leading scorer in NBA history hours before the helicopter crash, took to his Instagram page this morning to pay a touching tribute to the legend, revealing that he is 'heartbroken' by the passing of his close friend. According to James, the pair spoke on the phone just hours before the fatal helicopter accident. Sharing a series of photos of them on the basketball court, James wrote: "I’m Not Ready but here I go. Man I sitting here trying to write something for this post but every time I try I begin crying again just thinking about you, niece Gigi and the friendship/bond/brotherhood we had!" James wrote, along with multiple photos of himself and Bryant. "I literally just heard your voice Sunday morning before I left Philly to head back to LA. Didn’t think for one bit in a million years that would be the last conversation we’d have. WTF!! "I’m heartbroken and devastated my brother!!. Man I love you big bro. My heart goes to Vanessa and the kids. I promise you I’ll continue your legacy man! You mean so much to us all here especially #LakerNation. View this post on Instagram I’m Not Ready but here I go.
