Recently dethroned heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder has been cleared by doctors to start fighting at the end of April after he was unceremoniously beaten by Tyson Fury on Sunday morning in Las Vegas. Wilder was floored twice before his trainer threw in the towel after suspecting Fury had damaged Wilder's ear drums with a heavy right hand punch during the fight. Wilder, who was bleeding from his ear, was eventually stopped in the seventh before several media reports claimed he was taken to the hospital. Now according to a report from the Sun UK, the Nevada State Athletic Commission confirmed in their post-fight medical report that 'Wilder can start sparring again on April 8' but due to health reasons will be 'suspended from fighting in Vegas until April 23'. when he will be 100% fit.Fury upon beating Wilder is now the WBC Heavyweight champion while retaining the Lineal Heavyweight and Ring magazine belts and could face Tyson in a rematch as early as July if he activates the rematch clause in the next 28 days.
