Man, 54, arrested on suspicion of murder after woman, 35, was found dead in a home with suspected stab wounds

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead with suspected stab wounds in a home in east London. Police were called to a residential address on Magnolia Close in Leyton at around 11.50am on Tuesday morning after concerns were raised about occupants. The officers who responded found a woman, 35, with what were believed to be stab wounds. She died at the scene, despite efforts from the London Ambulance Service and medics from London’s Air Ambulance. A man, 54, who was also inside the property, was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. Officers believe it is a domestic-related incident. Detective Inspector Olly Clark, said: "At this very early stage we are treating this as a domestic-related incident and believe the parties were known to each other.
