“Social Media Wars - Dreads, Tattoos, and Passwords.” - More than just a Discussion

Social Media Wars - Dreads Tattoos and Passwords More than just a DiscussionIt has been confirmed that during the upcoming Social Media Week Lagos event, Sterling Bank will host a discussion panel where they tackle social issues affecting the Nigerian youth. The panel discussion titled: “Social Media Wars - Dreads, Tattoos, and Passwords’ will also discuss the modes of self-expression. It will talk about how providing youth an outlet for self-expression can drive creativity and help them perform better at their jobs because they don’t feel constrained physically and mentally. “Last last, we are creatives not criminals.” So their choice of self-expression should not be an invitation for harassment. These discussions will not be centred around these issues alone. Solutions will also be offered on how to tackle these issues if you ever find yourself in such situations. The panel session will have Sterling Bank’s MD - Abubakar Suleiman, Segalink, Ruggedman, and Gbemi as the panelists, and is set to hold on Monday, 24th February by 2:30 pm at The Landmark Event Centre, Lagos. This is a panel discussion we look forward to and you are warmly invited to be part of the discussion so you can share your story and how you think the stereotype should be stopped. If for any reason you can’t attend the panel session, then join the Tweet Meet scheduled to hold on February 21st at 3 p.m. on Twitter with podcast anchor, @FKAbudu. This will be a very interesting chat that will lead up to the main event.  Sterling Bank will also have a booth throughout the week-long event that will provide visitors with an opportunity to play games, savour some light refreshment, test new products and engage with the brand. To attend the session, register here. The post Social Media Wars - Dreads, Tattoos, and Passwords. - More than just a Discussion appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
